The first year of the Cornwall and Bodmin Stakes was a disappointing year given that Land's End, owned by C Trelawney, was allowed to walk over. However, The Tradesmen's Cup, over 2 miles, was a much more competitive affair. The result was:- Also at the Friday meeting the records show that 5 further races took place, a Purse, a Silver Tankard and The Free Handicap with the following result:-FREE HANDICAP THE YEOMANRY CUP |
